Questions and answers
Question:
Hello, could you tell me what stones should be used for laying in the heater?
Answer:
Good afternoon, it is best to use rocks for the heater – peridotite and gabbro-diabase. There are several reasons – this is both ecological cleanliness and excellent thermal properties of these rocks. Now such stones of Finnish or domestic passage are available to everyone (at least now they can be purchased in almost every city), and they are inexpensive. We strongly recommend using only these proven stones.
Question:
How does the Canadian stove work?
Answer:
It works quite simply – on the principle of a gas generator, i.e. smoldering combustion. The design is such that it itself, due to convection, very strongly and evenly mixes the air throughout the entire volume of the room. From below, it sucks cold air into its pipes that encircle the furnace, and from above it throws out already air heated to 60 -80 degrees. At the same time, the temperature of the furnace surface itself remains relatively low, in contrast to stoves of the “potbelly stove” type never heats up.
Question:
Is it possible to put a heater with less power than the volume of the room in the steam room?
Answer:
The power of the stove should correspond to the volume of the sauna. It is pointless to use a stove of less power – the sauna will not warm up to the desired temperature.
